Earl W. Wiggins, Jr., 75, of Taylor Springs, formerly of Irving, died Sunday, Jan. 24, 2021, at 11:38 p.m. at Montgomery Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Taylor Springs.

Private memorial services will be held at Bass Patton Dean Funeral Home in Hillsboro with the Rev. Myron Kirk, pastor of Grace Fellowship Church in Fillmore, officiating. CDC guidelines will be followed, including masks and social distancing. 

Mr. Wiggins was born March 31, 1945, in Paducah, KY, the son of the late Earl C. and Audrey (McDaniels) Wiggins. He married Marylin Purcell in 1963, in New Albany, IN, and they later divorced.

During his lifetime, he lived in Paducah, KY, New Albany, IN, and Irving. He was a welder at CIPS Coffeen Power Station in Coffeen. He loved to weld and work with metals.

He is survived by his children, David (wife Robin) Wiggins of Irving and Joyce (husband Gary) Miller of Fillmore; six grandchildren, Kevin (wife Keri) Clark, Kyle (wife Kelisha) Clark, Dana (husband Brandon) McDonald, Kyle (wife Allie) Wiggins, Hannah (husband Matt) Tomazzoli and Christina (husband Reid) Cerutti; nine great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother and three sisters.

Memorials may be made to the donors choice.
