The Duff family went 3-for-3 on Saturday, Aug. 29, as Cooper, Zach and Ryan Duff each came away with a top three finish at the Fox Valley Off Road Grand Prix near Ottawa.
Cooper Duff would earn family bragging rights as he took first overall in the 65cc class, running first in the first moto and third in the second.
Older brother Zach ran in the 85cc Super Mini class and took third overall to Regan and Reece Doerr. Duff would run third in both the first and second motos.
Cooper and Zach’s father, Ryan Duff, ran in the 40+ A Class and added to the family’s trophy haul. Duff would take third in his group, finishing behind Steve Perkins and Eric Wheelwright.
The following day, the Duffs were joined in Ottawa by the Lentz family of Walshville, who raced Friday in Indiana.
The two families would be well represented in the 65cc hare scramble as Travis Lentz took first in a time of 59:53, while Cooper Duff was second with a time of 1:09:18. Overall, Lentz would finish fourth in Youth Bikes, while Duff was 15th overall.
Ryan Duff would also hit the course, finishing fifth in the 30+ A Class and 26th overall in the AM Bikes division.
