Doris L. Titsworth, 88, of Harvel, died peacefully on Saturday, Oct. 29, 2022, at her home, surrounded by family.
Cremation rites will be accorded. No public services will be held. Perfetti-Assalley Funeral Home in Morrisonville is assisting the family.
Mrs. Titsworth was born Sept. 16, 1934, in Alton, to Daniel B. and Zelma (McMonical) Sebastian. She married Jack L. Titsworth on Jan. 17, 1951, in Carrollton, and he preceded her in death on Jan. 14, 1996.
A hard worker, she operated an upholstery business for over 50 years, where she provided a wide array of services to the surrounding communities.
Mrs. Titsworth was caring, and especially enjoyed cooking and baking for others.
She is survived by her children, Mary Law of Raymond, Jim (Pat) Titsworth, Janet (Dennis) Diesselhorst, both of Litchfield, Daniel Titsworth of Sanford, NC, Thomas Titsworth of Witt and Julie (Jr.) Thunhorst of Harvel; 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Titsworth was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers; and two sisters.
