Doris Elaine (Mollmann) Benny, 86, of Hillsboro, died Saturday, Jan. 30, 2021, at 10:38 p.m. at her residence.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, Feb. 9, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Bass Patton Dean Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Funeral services will follow at the funeral home with the Rev. Stefan Munker, pastor of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Hillsboro, and Mark Noyes of Hillsboro, co-officiating. COVID-19 CDC guidelines will be followed with the use of masks and social distancing.
Mrs. Benny was born June 30, 1934, in Hillsboro, to the late Fredrick “Fritz” and Mary (Haring) Mollmann. She married Robert Noyes on June 27, 1953, and they later divorced. She later married Clifford Lamont Benny on Feb. 16, 1965, and he preceded her in death on May 29, 1993.
A 1952 graduate of Hillsboro High School, she received her dietary continuing education at Penn State. She was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Hillsboro.
She is survived by her children, Mark Noyes of Hillsboro and Tammy Noyes Hamilton (husband David) of Florissant, MO; son-in-law, Tom Johnson; and daughter-in-law, Kim Noyes; 12 grandchildren, Matthew (wife Michelle) Noyes, Christopher (wife Vanilda) Noyes, Scott (wife Amanda) Hamilton, Cara Noyes, Rachel Maretti, Lindsay (husband Corry) Richardson, Kyle (wife Melissa) Hamilton, Shane (Terri) Griffin, Ashley (husband Chris) Fehl, Melanie (husband Corey) Bruce, Aaron (wife Holly) Tallman and Robbie (wife Stephanie) Noyes; 23 great-grandchildren, with one on the way; and two nephews and one niece.
In addition to her parents and husband, Clifford, she was preceded in death by children, Bobby Noyes and Cindy Noyes Johnson, and daughter-in-law, Debra Noyes; and sibling, Elnore Sanguinet.
Memorials may be made to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Hillsboro, Benld Adopt-A-Pet or PAWS Care in Hillsboro.
