Donnis Kay (Wotring) Trader, 73, of St. Marys, WV, died on Friday, Feb. 26, 2021, at her residence.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, March 2, at Ingram Funeral Home in St. Marys, WV, with Dale Parsley and David W. Trader co-officiating. An interment service followed at Maplewood Cemetery in Kingwood, WV.

Mrs. Trader was born on March 5, 1947, in Morgantown, WV, to Jack and Glenda (McNair) Wotring. She married George W. Trader, and he preceded her in death.

She was a graduate of Kingwood High School and attended Fairmont (College) University. 

Mrs. Trader spent many years as a Girl Scout, as well as a leader. During her senior year in high school, she was selected to attend the Girl Scout World Round-Up in Seattle, WA, in 1965. 

She was a life-time member of the WV Muzzleloaders Association, where she served as secretary. In addition, she was a member of Dewey Avenue Church of Christ and the Port-Mar Garden Club, where she served as a treasurer. 

Mrs. Trader enjoyed shooting muzzleloaders, riding four-wheelers, camping and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her son, David W. (Kim) Trader of Fraziers Bottom, WV; daughter, Beverly (Jimmy) Renner of Friendly, WV; grandchildren, Gavan (Casey) Renner, Devin Renner Lauer, Jourdan (Nick) Stalnaker and Jack Trader; great-grandchildren, Noah, Jacob and Anna Lauer, Rylee, Addie, Morgan and Gatlin Renner, and Josey Stalnaker; brother, Jack (Pammila) Wotring of Shepherdsville, KY; sister, Barbara (Charles) Neuman of Wheeling, WV; brother-in-law, William (Kathy) Trader of Litchfield; nieces and nephews, Trevor Wotring of Shepherdsville, KY, Ravonne Sims of Prospect, KY, Michael Neuman of Wheeling, WV, and Matthew (Jamie) Trader of Fairview Heights; great-nieces and great-nephews, Jack and Samuel Sims, Angelo Trader, and Sydney and Zoey Neuman; and two uncles and three aunts, Kenneth Riley of Oakland, MD, William and Wilma Hyre of Belmont, WV, Thelma Calvert of Kingwood, WV, and Lucy Vandergrift of Fairmont, WV.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Trader was preceded in death by her parents; and father and mother-in-law, George and Frances Trader.
