Donna Worley, 83, of Springfield, OH, died on Tuesday, May 31, 2022.
A memorial service will be held Friday, June 10, from 6 to 7 p.m. at Jackson, Lytle and Lewis Funeral Home in Springfield, OH.
Mrs. Worley was born Aug. 3, 1938, to William and Artie Rozmislowicz. She married the love of her life, James “Jim” Worley 55 years ago, and he preceded her in death.
She was raised in Ohio and Illinois before making her permanent residence in Springfield, OH.
Mrs. Worley was an avid reader and loved to write poetry. She could often be found curled up with a book, sipping a cup of tea or taking walks with her faithful dog by her side.
She was known for her quick wit and wonderful sense of humor. She loved bowling, spending time with her husband and friends, and visiting with her mother and four loving sisters.
Mrs. Worley was a member of Northside Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday School.
She is survived by her sons, J. Steven (Carol) Worley and Michael (Christie) Worley; seven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and sisters, Dalena Hudelson of Taylorville, Elva (Bobby) Colyer of Big Stone Gap, VA, Mary Ann (Kirk) Stewart and Florence (Ron) Clark, both of Hillsboro.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Worley was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Bill Rozmislowicz.
