Donald Sisk Jr., 50, of Nokomis died at 12:11 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 16, 2021, at St. John’s Hospital in Springfield.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 21, at Sutton Funeral Home in Nokomis. Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 22, at the funeral home with Pastor Ryan Follis officiating. Burial will be held in Rosemond Grove Cemetery in Rosamond. The family requests that everyone wear casual attire. Sutton Funeral Home in Nokomis is assisting the family with arrangements.
Mr. Sisk was born on Nov. 4, 1971, in Hillsboro, the son of Donald and Shirley (Northcraft) Sisk. He married Julie Hardas on Sept. 2, 1994, in Taylorville. Mr. Sisk worked as an area manager for Austin Industrial. He loved to travel, tinker in the garage and most of all he loved his family.
Mr. Sisk is survived by his wife, Julie Sisk of Nokomis; sons, Dalton Sisk of Nokomis and Kody (Adrianna) Sisk of Taylorville; daughter, Brandi (Justin) Stines of Irving; 11 grandchildren; one brother; five sisters and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and his sister in infancy.
