Mrs. Gonet was born on July 22, 1962, in Hillsboro, the daughter of C.W. Fox and Vickie (Umberger) Maedge. On June 20, 1981, she married Tom Gonet at St. Louis Catholic Church in Nokomis, and he survives.

Above all she loved her family and friends deeply and unconditionally. She was an amazing cook and avid gardener. She lived for her time with grandkids and was extremely kind to everyone. She helped when she could, remembered to keep in touch and above all, she knew how to show and give love.
