Dale E. Weller Jr., 74, of Litchfield, died Monday, April 14, 2025, at his home in Litchfield.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 22, from 9 to 11 a.m. at Litchfield Family Funeral Service, located at 700 S. State St. in Litchfield. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m., Tuesday, April 22, at Litchfield Family Funeral Service in Litchfield. Burial will follow in Elm Lawn Cemetery in Litchfield.
Mr. Weller was born on May 22, 1950, in Litchfield, a son of Dale E. and Regina Orblish Weller. He graduated from Litchfield High School with the class of 1968.
He married Diane L. Westbrook but they later divorced.
Mr. Weller worked as a union painter for over 35 years. He loved to work on cars and spent time gardening. He was a 50-year member of the Litchfield Moose Club. Mr. Weller enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. He was a lifetime blood donor and that was very important to him. He was well known for his Weller’s All Purpose Sauce. Mr. Weller was a huge fan of the Three Stooges.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Mr. Weller is survived by his daughters, Linn Fullington of Collinsville, Wendy J. Glauber of Gillespie and Lacey M. (Jeremey) Reisinger of Benld and son, Joseph Weller of Litchfield; three grandchildren; sister, Carol Weller of Sherman; and one nephew.
