Cynthia M. Hawn, 72, of Sherman, died Monday, June 22, 2020, at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield.
A private family ceremony will be held. Cremation will be provided by Lincoln Land Cremation Society in Springfield.
Mrs. Hawn was born April 10, 1948, in Hillsboro, the daughter of Daniel and Elaine Frank. She married Edward Hawn in 1987, in Acworth, GA, and he survives.
She studied at Witt High School, graduating in 1966. She went on to work for Blue Cross Blue Shield, retiring in 2013. She enjoyed crocheting, having cookouts and spending time with her family. She was known for her love of pets and being big-hearted.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by sons, John (Leagha) Dennison of Willard, MO, Joseph Weller of Springfield, Michael (significant other Shelly Lowe) Weller of Springfield and Steve Weller of Raymond; ten grandchildren; a brother, Bob Scobell; sisters, Jane and Ruth Ann Scobell; nine stepchildren; and special friend, Kelly Bounds.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister and one brother.
