The Hillsboro contingent of Brady Lynch, Evan Lynch, Kevin Rench and Justin Reynolds, along with Coffeen’s Matt Tomazzoli, were in Macon Saturday, Sept. 5, for the speedway’s weekly lineup.
Four of the five would race in the Pro-Mod division, with Rench taking bragging rights this week. After running fifth in his heat race and starting 14th, Rench piloted the 116 to a seventh place finish overall.
Tomazzoli, who started 19th, placed 11th, while Reynolds, who started fifth, took 12th. Evan Lynch would take 15th and a DNF (did not finish) after breaking a rear end bar in the feature.
Brady Lynch was third fastest in qualifying, but finished seventh in his heat. He’d move up a spot in the feature though, taking seventh in the Pro Late Model race.
Hillsboro’s Justin Reynolds and Nokomis’ Anton Loskot would both compete at Fayette County Speedway on Saturday, Aug. 29.
Reynolds ran fifth in the first heat in the B-Modified Division, but won the first of two B-Mains to advance to the A-Main. In the feature, Reynolds made some ground and took 11th overall in the 20-car field.
Loskot would run sixth in the first heat in the street stock class, then placed tenth in the feature race.
