Connie R. (Reid) Whitehead, 60, of Hillsboro, died on Saturday, March 6, 2021, at 2:34 p.m. at her residence.
No services are planned at this time. Cremation rites were accorded. Bass Patton Dean Funeral Home in Hillsboro is assisting the family.
Ms. Whitehead was born on Nov. 17, 1960, in Palos Heights, to Gerald and Thelma (Edwards) Reid.
She graduated high school in New Lenox. During her career, she served as a bartender and did marketing work for Coty Cosmetics.
Ms. Whitehead lived in Brownsville, TX, San Antonio, TX, and most recently Hillsboro, where she resided for the past ten years.
She is survived by her son, Jeffery Atkinson II; grandson, Jeffery Atkinson III; and siblings, Debbie (husband Harold) Jordon, Charles Reid, both of Litchfield, and James (wife Martha) Reid of Shelbyville.
Ms. Whitehead was preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Marsha Banks.
