Claude “Frog” William Snider, 84, of Fillmore, died Monday, Jan. 27, 2025, at Hillsboro Health.
A visitation service will take place on Saturday, Feb. 1, at Hough and Sons Funeral Home in Hillsboro from 4 to 6 p.m.
Mr. Snider was born on Oct. 18, 1940, in Coffeen to his parents John W. and Iona (Traylor) Snider. He spent his life working as a union laborer and was a part of the Local 1084 Labor Hall and had just received his 60 year membership certificate for his dedication to his work. Mr. Snider loved his dogs and had a passion for camping. He loved to sit down and have a coffee with friends. He was one of a kind.
Mr. Snider married Judith Chumley and they later divorced. He then married Barbara Bailey and she preceded him in death on Dec. 9, 2020.
Mr. Snider is survived by his children Terri Theresa Romero of Coffeen, Scott Snider of Mesa, AR, Tina Snider of Coffeen and Wade Dean Snider of Coffeen; 13 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents; son, Stacey Snider; granddaughter, Breezy Romero; great-grandson, Angelo Romero; and siblings, John Snider, Lila Warren, Ora May Hatcher and his twin brother Cloyde “C.O.” Snider.
