Clarence William Keiser, 95, of Witt, died Sunday, Jan. 30, 2022 at 3:50 p.m. at the Hillsboro Area Hospital.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, Feb. 5, at 11 a.m. at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Nokomis.  Visitation will be Friday, Feb. 4 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the church.  Burial will take place in the St. Paul’s Cemetery.  Pastor Chris Prumm will officiate.

Mr. Keiser was born on Oct. 2, 1926, a son of the late Benjamin C. Keiser and Genevieve (Fricke) Keiser.

He was a farmer and truck driver most of his life.  Mr. Keiser was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Nokomis; member of the American Farm Heritage in Greenville; Massey Collectors of Illinois, Massey Collectors of America, Midstate Tractor Club, and was a Rountree Township officer.

Mr. Keiser was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War.

He married the former Melba Irene Luken on Feb. 19, 1955 and she survives.  They were married 67 years.

He is also survived by his son, David (Sasha) Keiser of Marine, IL; granddaughter, Oliva Keiser; and sister, Doris Johnson of Nokomis.

He was preceded in death by his parents, son, Dan Keiser; brother, Roy Keiser; and sister, Betty Dahler.
