Claire Ann Lienard, 59, of Gillespie, died on Saturday, Oct. 15, 2022.
Private funeral services were held on Thursday,Oct. 20, at SS Simon and Jude Church in Gillespie. Burial was at Holy Cross Cemetery in Gillespie. Kravanya Funeral Home in Gillespie is assisting the family with arrangements.
Ms. Lienard was born on Oct. 31, 1962, in Litchfield, the daughter of Edward and Joan (Bednar) Lienard. She was very lovable and loved to give everyone big bear hugs. She was known as Clairey and Claire Bear by those who loved her.
Ms. Lienard is survived by her sister, Marilyn (Tony) Kravanya of Gillespie; brother, David Lienard of Lebanon; sister-in-law, Sue Lienard of Drew, MS; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Richard Lienard.
