Christmas Mall Takes Over Raymond Community


The small community of Raymond was bustling with eager shoppers as they carefully visited the many vendors and local businesses during this year's Christmas Mall on Saturday, Nov. 30, at the Raymond Knights of Columbus Hall.

There were well over 30 participating vendors, while several businesses in town held open houses and offered refreshments, drawings and activities for all to enjoy.

New to this year's event was a scavenger hunt sponsored by the Raymond Independence Day Celebration committee. Scavengers were asked to visit participating businesses, find all listed items and report back to the Christmas Mall. The winner of the hunt was Michelle Roach, who took home a 32 in. flat screen TV. The event was hosted by Project Third Day-Panhandle. Winners of the business drawings include:

10-15 years: Raegen Skinner and Skyler Nance, big Snickers bar and $15 gift card
