Christine Beecher-Fosnock, 67

Christine Marie Beecher-Fosnock, 67, of Gillespie, formerly of Litchfield, died at 2:50 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 22, 2021, at OSF St. Anthony’s Hospital in Alton.

A visitation will be held on Monday, Sept. 27, 2021, from 3 to 6 p.m. at Plummer Funeral Home in Litchfield.  Cremation will follow the services. Plummer Funeral Home in Litchfield is assisting the family with arrangements. 

Mrs. Beecher-Fosnock was born on June 28, 1954, in Corona, CA, a daughter of Rex Loren and Frieda Marie (Mitchell) Trader. She married Steven George Fosnock, Sr., in June 2002 in Gillespie,  he preceded her in death on June 29, 2021. 

Mrs. Beecher-Fosnock graduated from Litchfield High School with the Class of 1972.  She went on to Brown’s Business College and received her associate’s degree in accounting.  Mrs. Beecher-Fosnock was the parts manager at several area GM dealerships.  She had also worked with Bailey & Associates in Litchfield doing offsite marketing, and was a waitress for several years at Toni’s in Benld. Mrs. Beecher-Fosnock was the lead singer/vocalist for the band Sounds Unlimited. She enjoyed babysitting her grandchildren. 

Mrs. Beecher-Fosnock is survived by two sons, Tom (Tonia) Roach of Litchfield and Rexdon (Melissa) Boliard of Fillmore; one step-son, Steven G. (Kelli) Fosnock, Jr. of Gillespie; one daughter, Shanee (Jacob) Jones of Litchfield; one brother, Rex “Junior” (Donna) Trader of Hillsboro; four sisters, Susan Lee Acree of Witt, Tina Trader of Hillsboro, Rosemary Trader (Ron Bleyer) of Litchfield and Shirley (Mike) Hamby of Litchfield; 15 grandchildren, Thomas Roach Jr., Charles (Tiffany) Roach, Richard (Madeline) Roach, Tori Lee Roach, Maxwell Roach, Brandon (Breanna) Crum, Nathan (Rebecca) Meyer, Autumn Boliard, Donavan Boliard, Harley Jones, Jurnee Jones, Kenlee Jones, Emily Helvey, Khloe Helvey and Steve G. Fosnock, III; three great-grandchildren, Brentlee Crum, Ellie Dawn Meyer and Savannah Viviano; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Steven.
