Catherine Lewis, 83, of Nokomis, died on Friday, June 11, 2021, in Ormond Beach, FL.
Visitation will be held Friday, June 18, from 10 to 11 a.m. at Stiehl-Dawson Funeral Home in Nokomis. Funeral services will follow, beginning at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be held at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Nokomis.
Mrs. Lewis was born Nov. 4, 1937, in Springfield, to Steve and Helen (Novak) Urban. She married Robert H. Lewis, Sr. on Oct. 8, 1958, in Hillsboro, and he preceded her in death on Feb. 7, 1998.
During her career, she served as a cook at Nokomis High School.
Mrs. Lewis is survived by her children, Jerry Lewis of Bogota, Columbia, South America, Laura (Carl) Hixon of Ormond Beach, FL, and Robert (Kristal) Lewis, Jr. of Fillmore; grandchildren, Katrina Harden, Aaron Lewis and Kayla Lewis; and great-grandchildren, Abby Rock, Paige Lewis and Christian Frayek.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; and son, Barry.
