Carolyn Sue Lipe, 86, of Witt, died on Saturday, April 23, 2022, at her home.
A private graveside service will be conducted at St. John’s Cemetery in Irving. Stiehl-Dawson Funeral Home in Nokomis is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Lipe was born Sept. 13, 1935, in Marion County, to Amyel and Pansi (William) Smith. She married Dale L. Lipe on Nov. 29, 1957, in Warrenville, IN, and he preceded her in death on July 18, 2014.
Following 12 years of education, she became a homemaker. She was a member of Mt. Zion Lutheran Church.
Mrs. Lipe is survived by her son, Barry Lipe of Witt; grandchildren, Caleb (Michelle) Miller of Farina, Jordan Miller and Joshua (Heather) Miller, both of Brownstown; and great-grandchildren, Lucas, Madilynn and Joel.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Lisa Miller; four brothers; and three sisters.
