Carolyn Bee Doyen, 73, of Fillmore, died on Tuesday, May 10, 2022, at 8:15 a.m. at her residence.
Visitation will be held Friday, May 13, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Toberman-Dean Funeral Home in Coffeen. Funeral services will follow, beginning at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Myron Kirk, pastor of Grace Fellowship Church in Fillmore, and Danny White of Coffeen officiating.
Mrs. Doyen was born Nov. 11, 1948, in Pana, to John William and Goldie Mabel (Miller) Gipson. She married David Doyen on May 29, 1964, in Hillsboro, and he survives.
She was a housewife and provided care to people in their homes. She was also a member of Grace Fellowship Church in Fillmore.
Mrs. Doyen loved looking for creek rocks. During her lifetime, she resided in Pana, Coffeen and Fillmore.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Goldie (husband Rob) Brown of Watson, Kathy (husband Bryan) Runge of Ramsey, David W. (wife Jennifer) Doyen of Nokomis and Missy (husband Dave) Marley of Fillmore; 11 grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and siblings, Doyle Gipson, Dale Gipson, Nadine Carlock and Mary Askenette.
Mrs. Doyen was preceded in death by a brother at birth; and two sisters.
