Brady A. Cox, 46, of Benld, died  on Tuesday, Oct. 26, 2021, at Community Memorial Hospital in Staunton.

Funeral services were held on Thursday, Nov. 4, at Kravanya Funeral Home in Benld. Burial was at Mayfield Memorial Park Cemetery in Carlinville. Kravanya Funeral Home in Benld assisted the family with arrangements.

Mr. Cox was born on Nov. 23, 1974, in Litchfield, to Glen R. “Buzzy” and Barbara A. (Olds) Cox. He married Brandi (Vollintine) Cox on July 23, 2012. Mr. Cox was a chief high explosives operator for Olin Corp. He loved fast cars, motorcycles,movies and comic books. He collected Saleen Mustangs.

Mr. Cox is survived by his parents; wife; sons, Braydon Cox and Jakob Conlee, both of Benld; siblings, Cheryl(Marty)Derganc of Benld, Annette (Bart) Baker of Shipman, Joey Cox of Sawyerville, Barbie Cox of Benld, Glenda (Tim) Margaritis of Staunton, Kathleen Cox of Staunton, Michael Cox of Maryland, Cara Cox of Moro and Dale (Tina) Cox of Carlinville: mother-in-law and father-in-law, Lorraine and Don Giller, Louis and Joan Vollintine; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Louis (Wendy) Vollintine of Benld, Gina Vollintine of Sorento, Mary Vollintine of Chicago, Amy Vollintine of Sorento, Randle Vollintine of Sorento and Wilma Vollintine of Litchfield; several nieces and nephews, including special niece Molly and special nephew Adam; and special dogs, Nya and Ceasar.

He was preceded in death by his twin brother, Brian “Bri” Cox; sister-in-law, JoAnn Cox; nephew, Caleb Cox; and grandmother-in-law, Granny Lila.
