Betty E. Plummer Jett Law, 93, of Litchfield, died on Tuesday, Nov. 23, 2021, at Montgomery Nursing and Rehab in Taylor Springs.
Funeral services will begin at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 30, at Hough and Sons Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Visitation will be Tuesday from 11 a.m. until service time.
Mrs. Law was born in Charleston on Aug. 25, 1928. She was raised by her grandmother. She worked at Roller Derby in Litchfield, was a member of the Litchfield Moose, and was an avid bingo player.
She married Pearl Jett, Sr., and then Earl Law, and both preceded her in death.
She is survived by her children, David (Carol) Hankins of Litchfield, Darrell (Fran) Jett of Donnellson, Dallas (Judy) Jett of Hillsboro, Peggy (Sam) Hankins Osburn of Lawrenceville, Faye (Bobby) Compton of Panama, and Deanna (Ricky) Brewer of Panama; along with several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her grandmother and husbands, she was also preceded in death by three children, Pearl Jett, Jr., Maynard Jett and Linda Jett Ingle; one granddaughter, Sherri Long; and a great-grandson, David Long.
