Beth Ann Parris, 54, of Edwardsville, died at 4:09 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 19, 2024, at Barnes Hospital in St. Louis, MO.
In celebration of her life, visitation will be at Cornerstone Ministries, located at 812 S. Old Route 66 in Litchfield on Thursday, Oct. 24, from 9 a.m. until time of funeral service at 12 p.m. noon with the Reverend Steve Benthal officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Hill Memorial Estates in Glen Carbon.
Mrs. Parris was born May 19, 1970, in Granite City, a daughter of Sharon (Coy) King Miller of Troy and the late Gary W. King. She married the love of her life, Keith Parris on Nov. 5, 1988, at the First United Pentecostal Church in Granite City and he survives.
Mrs. Parris was serving as the secretary and an assistant pastor of Cornerstone Ministries of Litchfield and also working with Alender Insurance Agency in Staunton. She had previously worked in the Proxy department at A.G. Edwards and also as a pharmacy technician with MediCap Pharmacy in Granite City.
She was a former longtime faithful member of First United Pentecostal Church in Granite City. She loved trips to Destin with her family to spend time in the sun and the sand. She cherished her husband, children and grandchildren and will be remembered for the love and special times shared with her family and many friends. Mrs. Parris embodied the fruits of the spirit and led people to Jesus by loving people. She was passionate, invested, made time for everyone, saw the unseen, loved the unloved and always lived her life by example for others.
In addition to her beloved husband and mother, Mrs. Parris is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Lauren and Titus Johnson of Sandwich and son and daughter-in-law, Westin and Megan Parris of Granite City; two grandchildren, Parris and Porter Johnson; brother and sister-in-law, Gary and Paula King of Sarasota, FL; a sister and brother-in-law, Kathy and Rick Schellhardt of Paducah, KY; stepfather, Steve Miller of Troy; and many nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, other extended family and many friends.
In addition to her father, Mrs. Parris was preceded in death by her grandparents, Roberta and Leon Coy and Lester and Berneda King.
