Barbara Mae Wright, 71, of Witt, died on Monday, Sept.6, 2021.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Sept. 18, 2021, at 10 a.m. at Bass Patton Dean Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Officiants will be Stephen Wright and Pastor Randy White of Open Arms Fellowship Church in Irving.
Mrs. Wright was born Oct. 18, 1949, in Hillsboro, to the late Leonard and Rosella (Fogle) Pryor. She married Stephen Michael Wright on May 8, 2010, at the Union Church in Butler. Her husband survives and resides in Witt. She was a member of both the Union Church in Butler and Open Arms Fellowship in Irving, and she loved singing at both churches.
She received a Master’s degree in Business from Purdue University and lived in Montgomery County most of her life.
In addition to her husband, Stephen, Mrs. Wright is survived by her children, Tammy Mae Lawson of Butler, Rex Allen McClanahan of Hillsboro, and Rebecca Rose Deal of Litchfield; step-daughters, Stephanie Dilly of Hillsboro and Stacie Klein of Athens; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and her sister, Betty Davidson of Witt. Along with her parents, Mrs. Wright is preceded in death by her parents and one brother.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to donor’s choice.
