Bandy M. Eller, 70, of Staunton, died at 5:11 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 27, 2023, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO.

A memorial visitation will be held on Friday, Feb. 3, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Williamson Funeral Home in Staunton. Williamson Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Ms. Eller was born on June 26, 1952, in Litchfield, the daughter of Richard U. Eller, Sr.,  and Norma J. (Colbert) Mahanay. She retired as a shipping manager from Duke Manufacturing in St. Louis, MO, after working there for over 15 years. Ms. Eller also served in the United States Army from 1976 to 1978.

Ms. Eller was one of the top runners on the track team in high school, was an avid fast-pitch softball player and an avid watcher of the College World Series. Her family will remember her as the best mother and sister that anyone could have.

Ms. Eller is survived by her cherished daughter,Rose Sarah Marie Eller (Dalton Baugh) of Edwardsville; siblings,  Richard U. (Arlene) Eller Jr. of Staunton, Andy L. Eller (Laurie Avery) of Virginia, Charlotte L. (Marvin) Dunmire of Staunton,  David G. (Debra) Eller of Raymore, MO,  Helen D. Brown (Kathy Marquis) of Alton and Theresa F. Taylor (Lester Hahn); a half-brother, Brian P.E. Mahanay of Hartford; two step sisters, Debbie Mahanay of East Alton and Candice Mahanay of O’Fallon, MO; and many nieces and nephews.
