While there, she began as a nurse manager on the eighth floor and over many years gathered more responsibility and excelled as the Director of the Emergency Room, Emergency Department and then currently as the Executive Nurse Leader.
Though her career was a passion of hers, Ms. Jones’ biggest joy and love was her son, Drew. She was so proud of his accomplishments and success in his career, as well as life in general.
A member of the Springfield First United Methodist Church, Ms. Jones was a social butterfly who absolutely loved catching up with friends over a glass of wine. She was also an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan and loved watching a good game.
She is survived by her son, Andrew “Drew” Jones of Springfield; her mother; her brother, Kim (Janice) McCann of Sarasota, FL; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Her father preceded her in death.
