Amber Nichole Roston, 45, of Springfield, formerly of Litchfield, died on Wednesday, Nov. 16, 2022, at her residence.
Visitation will be held Saturday, Nov. 26, from 10 to 11 a.m. at Plummer Funeral Home in Litchfield. Memorial services will follow, beginning at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Jon Magnuson of Beacon Church officiating. Burial will be held at Benld Cemetery.
Mrs. Roston was born Dec. 16, 1976, to Alvin Eugene and Candace Sue (Prior) Garst. She married Fuzell L. Roston on Dec. 17, 2010, and he preceded her in death on April 12, 2019.
She graduated from Litchfield High School with the class of 1995 and obtained her associate’s of nursing degree from Lewis and Clark Community College.
During her career, Mrs. Roston was employed by the state of Illinois as a registered nurse and Olive Garden in Springfield as a waitress.
She enjoyed being with her family and shopping. She dearly loved her Maltese fur babies Maddy and Lucky.
Mrs. Roston is survived by her parents of Eagerville; sons, Stephen White of Benld, Jared (Madison Shaw) White of Midway Park, NC, and Nathan (Sarah Allard) White of Camp Pendleton, CA; sisters, Jodi Garst of Rockford, Eriel Adams of Gillespie, Danielle Garst of Litchfield and Alicia Garst of Mt. Olive; and granddaughters, Elizabeth O’Toole and Valerie Shaw.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Donald and Nancy Garst; and maternal grandparents, Joseph Catalano and Patricia Light.
