Alan Dale Mueller, 68, of Waverly, died on Friday, Jan. 17, 2020, at 7:28 p.m. at HSHS St. John's Hospital in Springfield.
A Service of Remembrance will be conducted Saturday, Jan. 25, beginning at 2 p.m. at Plummer Funeral Home in Litchfield. A luncheon and fellowship will follow at the Litchfield Moose Lodge #1634.
Mr. Mueller was born July 9, 1951, in Highland, to Glen Otto and Wilma Jean (Hagler) Mueller.
He graduated from Greenville High School with the class of 1969.
During his career, Mr. Mueller was a self-employed carpenter, having previously worked for the Pacific Railroad in Missouri as a truck driver and crane operator.
He was a member of the Litchfield Moose Lodge #1634 and the North American Hunting Club. He enjoyed hunting, trout fishing, playing pool and camping at Lake Lou Yeager in Litchfield.
Mr. Mueller is survived by his fiancee, Donna L. Odle; mother of Highland; daughter, Kortney Matthews of Pocahontas; two brothers, Glen (Cheryl) Mueller, Jr. of Greenville and Mike (Connie) Mueller of Pierron; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father; and two brothers, Dennis and Jim Mueller.
