Adeline Marie Richardson, 95, of San Antonio, TX, died on Tuesday, Oct. 27, 2020.
Funeral services were held Monday, Nov. 9, at St. Thomas More Catholic Church in San Antonio, TX. A committal service followed at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio, TX. Sunset Memorial Park and Funeral Home in San Antonio, TX, assisted the family.
Mrs. Richardson was born Oct. 8, 1925, in Nokomis, to Freddie B. and Christine (Moos) Johnson. She married Edgar Richardson, and he preceded her in death in 2017, after 71 years of marriage.
She graduated from Nokomis High School with the class of 1943 and worked part time at her father’s business, Johnson Auto Company.
For several years, Mrs. Richardson and her husband owned and operated Richardson Hardware in Nokomis. Her husband rejoined the U.S. Air Force in the early 1950s, and after his retirement, they made their home in San Antonio, TX.
She is survived by two sons, Ronald (Glenda) Richardson of Belverde, TX, and Don (Cindy) Richardson of San Antonio, TX; two daughters, Diana Rodriguez of Arkansas and Mary Ann (William) Dillin of California; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Richardson was preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Jeremy Rodriguez; son-in-law, Joran Rodriguez; and brother, Mervin Johnson.
