Victoria K. "Vicki" Burgnone, 70, of Staunton, died Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2018, at 10:43 a.m. at St. John's Hospital in Springfield.
Upon her wishes, her remains will be cremated. No services are planned at this time. Kravanya Funeral Home in Gillespie is assisting the family.
Mrs. Burgnone was born Dec. 10, 1947, in Litchfield, the daughter of the late Betty Ann (Bellovich) Dal Pozzo. She married Richard "Dick" Burgnone on Feb. 6, 1967, in Carlinville, and he survives.
She was a loving wife, friend and mother. During her career, she worked at the Secretary of State's office, Macoupin County Clerk's office, Madison Communications and Duda Hardware.
Mrs. Burgnone enjoyed being with family, cooking, being outdoors, and enjoyed all animals, especially her special puppy, "Rambo."
Besides her husband, she is survived by two sons, Brian (wife Jennifer) of Edwardsville and Bradley (friend Lauren) of Benld; brother-in-law, John Kehnast of Staunton; and aunt, Christine Dal Pozzo of Staunton.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by sister, Cathy (Dal Pozzo) Kehnast; uncle, John Dal Pozzo; grandparents, Joe and Mary Bellovich; and her in-laws, Art and Eleanor Burgnone.
Memorials may be made to Adopt-A-Pet of Benld or Olive Cemetery Association.
