Ronda L. Kirk, 82, of Altus, OK, died on Monday, Nov. 2, 2020, surrounded by her family.

A graveside committal service will be held Tuesday, Oct. 17, at 2 p.m. at Cedar Ridge Cemetery in Honey Bend. The Rev. Gary Schwab of First Presbyterian Church of Litchfield will officiate. Plummer Funeral Home in Litchfield is in charge of local arrangements.

Mrs. Kirk was born Dec. 6, 1937 in Honey Bend to Byron and Edna (Watkins) Billiter. She started school in Honey Bend and graduated with the Class of 1955 at Litchfield High School. After graduation, Mrs. Kirk worked in Springfield at an insurance company. 

Mrs. Kirk married Roy Kirk in December 1960, in New London, MO. Shortly after getting married, they moved to Webb Air Force Base in Big Springs, TX, where Mr. Kirk was stationed. As a military wife, Mrs. Kirk lived in various locations throughout the U.S., including Sacramento, CA, Fairfield, CA, Rantoul and Champaign, before her and her husband settled in Altus, OK in 1978.

They had two children, Rochelle and Ryan. She provided a loving home for her family and cherished spending time with her children and grandchildren. She loved playing Wahoo with her family and putting together puzzles with her grandchildren.

Until her health made it impossible, Mrs. Kirk was an active member of the Assembly of God church in Altus, OK. She enjoyed volunteering at the church, helping others in the community and studying her Bible.  Mrs. Kirk was a living example of Ephesians 4:32, which reads, “And be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving one another, just as God also forgave you in Christ.”

She is survived by her husband, Roy; son Ryan Kirk and daughter Rochelle (Trent) Guinn; grandchildren Jackson and Jace Guinn; and brother, Teri Billiter and wife Tanya. 

Mrs. Kirk is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Ron Billiter and sister, Alma Belovich.
