Michael "Bo" Boehler, 63, of Highlands Ranch, CO, died Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2018, in Douglas County, CO.

An Irish wake will be held Saturday, Dec. 8, from 1 to 5 p.m. at the Farmersville Knights of Columbus Hall.

Mr. Boehler was born Jan. 22, 1955, in Springfield, the son of Nicholas and Lora Helen (Irwin) Boehler. 

He was a 1973 graduate of Lincolnwood High School, where he was the pitcher for the 1973 state baseball team that finished third. He went on to pitch for the University of Illinois, and he was a member of the Illini "I", the Varsity Letterman's Club. He graduated in 1978. 

Mr. Boehler was an avid sports fan and fitness enthusiast, and followed football and Illini basketball.

His many business ventures in Chicago, Montana and most recently Colorado, allowed him to touch the lives of people all over the world. Among his wide circle of friends, he was known as the one they could count on.

He is survived by his siblings, Patrick (wife Betsy) Boehler of Hillsboro, Philip Boehler and significant other, Marsha Muller of Waggoner, Barbara (husband Larry) McKinney of Taylorville and Ginny (husband Terry) Brockmeyer of Raymond; many nieces, nephews and cousins; and friend Brenda Magsamen of Castle Rock, CO.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, David Boehler and Don Boehler; and a sister, Betty Tischkau.
