Linda Kay (Johns) Jeffers, 72, died Nov. 1, 2023, at her residence in Arkansas.
Visitation will be 11 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Nov. 11 with the funeral service immediately following at Hough and Sons Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Burial will be in Union Miners Cemetery in Mt. Olive.
Ms. Jeffers was born on July 31, 1951, in Mt. Olive to her parents Wilburn and Emma (Welch) Johns. She married John Jeffers, and they later divorced.
Ms. Jeffers attended Mt. Olive High School and later went on to work for the Sunset Motel in Mt. Olive. She also worked at the Mill Café. She was of the Baptist faith.
Ms. Jeffers is survived by her children, Donna (Michael) Thomason of Arkansas, Lisa (Donny) Roller of Raymond and Steve Jeffers of Arkansas; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and one brother Harold Johns.
She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Brenda Jeffers; two sisters, Mary Lou Johns and Judy Boyce and brothers, Lester, Gary and Ron Johns.
