Katie V. ''Kay" Morlan, 79, of Arnold, MO died on Monday, Oct. 9, at her home, with her dog Sissy beside her.
A visitation for Morlan was held Wednesday, Oct. 11 at Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler Funeral Home, located at 1081 Jeffco Blvd in Arnold, MO.
Morlan was born in Poinsettia, AR, on Dec. 3, 1943 to the late I.V. and Ruby (nee Clay) Manley. She was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Ladies- Auxiliary in Arnold, MO.
She is survived by her children, Patricia Ann (Michael) Blaylock of Collinsville and Diana Kay Ellis of Arnold, MO; grandchildren Jamie Kay (Dwight) Murray of Hillsboro, Nicki (John) Murray of Irving, Elizabeth Barttelbort of French Village, MO, and Jacob (Samantha) Blaylock of O'Fallon; great-grandchildren Colt Murray (Marissa Harrell) of Hillsboro, Shea Murray of Hillsboro and Chance Murray of MacDill, AFB Tampa Bay, FL, Ethan, Keegan and Logan Murray of Irving, Mikayla Saller of French Village, MO, Coby, Cohen, Isabella and Bristol Blaylock of O'Fallon; great-great grandchildren Rori Murray and Oaklynn Murray; siblings, Peggy Sloan, Sonny (Evelyn) Cook and Gene Cook; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son Jeffrey Lyle Ellis; and brother Bud (Diane) Cook.
Memorial donations in Morlan's Honor may be made to the Fraternal Order of Eagles Ladies Auxiliary.
