Jesse E. Jones, 67, of Hillsboro, died Friday, Dec. 7, 2018, at Hillsboro Rehabilitation and Health Care Center.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, Dec. 11, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Hough and Sons Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Funeral services will follow, beginning at 12 p.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. James Hayes officiating. Burial will be held in Crabtree Cemetery in Litchfield.
Mr. Jones was born Aug. 13, 1951, in Fairmont, WV, to Fredrick and Edith (Tetrick) Jones. He married Rosemarie Speed on Oct. 27, 1972, and she survives.
He was employed as a crane operator for Inland Steel Mill in Indiana and East Chicago for over 40 years.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Jones is survived by one son, Jesse L. Jones of Witt; daughter, Heidi Jones of Indiana; three grandsons; one great-granddaughter; and siblings, Virginia Mayes, Evelyn McNece, John, Paul, Adam and David Arroyo, Juanita Vela and Lisa Gordon.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
