Jerry L. Crow, 85, of Nokomis, died on Friday, Nov. 23, at 10:11 p.m. at HSHS St. John's Hospital in Springfield.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, Nov. 27, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Stiehl-Dawson Funeral Home in Nokomis. Funeral services will follow, beginning at 7 p.m. at the funeral home with masonic rites conducted by Nokomis Lodge #456.

Mr. Crow was born April 11, 1933, in Nokomis, to Loretta Reed. He married Dorothy Bruns, and she survives.

He worked in retail sales at Mohawk Furniture and Hardware Co. in Nokomis for over 50 years. He formerly served as a Nokomis fireman, city councilman and shriner.

Mr. Crow was a member of the United Methodist Church in Nokomis, Nokomis Lions and Nokomis Masonic Lodge #456.

He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing, hunting, boating, and was a great collector of Native American artifacts.

In addition to his wife of almost 48 years, Mr. Crow is survived by children, Blair Crow of Witt, Kimberly (Mark) Finley of Nokomis, Penny J. Pavolka of Irving and  Kimberly A. (Robert) Barbee of Rosamond; grandchildren, Carrie, Brad, Neil, Randi, Sam, Amanda and Ruthie; great-grandchildren, Dalton, Jordyn, Mia, Noah, Anthony, Sutton, Zane, Zayda, Zinnen, Hayden, Sheldon, Gabril, Aryelle, Dayton, Rylle and Layne; great-great-grandchildren, Braxton and Alabama; and a sister, Nancy Etting.

He was preceded in death by his mother; one son, David L. Crow; and a sister, Judy Wilde.
