Hearn Has Super Year In Super Series

Timothy Hearn is still seven years away from getting his driver's license, but by the time the Litchfield nine-year-old gets it, he'll have already spent plenty of time behind the wheel.

Hearn, the son of David and Michelle Hearn, recently completed his rookie year with the Midwest Junior Super Series, a national drag racing series based in Illinois.

T-Bone, as he's called by his friends, raced in two divisions at some of the top tracks in the country, including Lucas Oil Raceway in Indianapolis, National Trail Raceway in Hebron, OH, Byron Dragway in Byron, US 131 Motorsports in Martin, MI, and Gateway Motorsports Park in Madison.

The young racer would finish in the top ten in the point standings in both divisions, placing seventh in the six to nine-year-old division and ninth in the 11.90 index class.

Hearn, whose father also bracket races, will be moving up a class next season as he competes in the ten to 12-year-old age group and the faster 8.90 index class.
