Evelyn Nadine Cruthis, 77, of Litchfield, died on Aug. 3, 2023.
Private family services will be held at a later time. The family is be assisted by Hough Funeral Home in Raymond.
Mrs. Cruthis was born on July 24, 1946 in New Douglas, the daughter of Charles A. and Leona J. Buessner Sievers. She first married John W. Goldacker in 1966. She later wed Gerald Rodney Cruthis on Dec. 29, 1969 in Valdosta, GA and he preceded her in death on June 13, 1997.
Mrs. Cruthis was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Litchfield. She was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking and working outside, but most of all she enjoyed being with her family and spending precious time with her grandchildren.
She and her husband Rodney operated the Wabash Depot in Litchfield for a number of years.
Mrs. Cruthis is survived by her children, son John (Jill) Goldacker of Jerseyville, daughter Jody (Joe) Corso of Raymond her twin sons, Jerry (Kaci) Cruthis of Litchfield and Joe (Donna) Cruthis of Edwardsville; grandchildren, Brendan, Baylee, Alex and Nathan Goldacker, Charlie and Sally Corso, Camryn and Lauren Cruthis, and Charlotte and Luke Cruthis. She is also survived by her sister, Alice Mancewicz of Alton.
Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sister, Leona Sievers.
