Emma Lou Feller, 92, of Litchfield,died at 1:03 a.m. on Thursday, May 11, 2023,at Edwardsville Care Center.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, May 16, at Holy Family Catholic Church in Litchfield, with Fr. Dan Willenborg presiding. Visitation will be held on Tuesday morning, from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be at Holy Cross Cemetery in Litchfield. Plummer Funeral Home in Litchfield is in assisting the family with arrangements.

Mrs. Feller was born on Dec. 28, 1930, to Ed J. and Blanche M. (Keller) Cerny, in Anna. She married John Lewis Feller on July 9, 1949, in Anna, and he preceded her in death on Jan. 31, 1994. Mrs. Feller was employed for 37 years in bookkeeping and payroll at Litchfield Creamery Co. - Milnot.

Mrs. Feller was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church where she served in various ways, including as a member of the St. Anne’s Society. She was also a member of the HSHS St. Francis Hospital Ladies Auxiliary. Mrs. Feller enjoyed traveling, walking and swimming.

Mrs. Feller is survived by a niece, Joann (Bob) Barth of Swansea; and two nephews, Noel (Brenda) Cerny of Phoenix, AZ, and Bill (Thelma) Reames of Fairview Heights.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, Paul Cerny; sister, Mary Reames; nephew, Kevin Cerny; and her niece, Nancy Long.
