Dorothy Juanita Cravens, 80, formerly of Litchfield, died at 6:15 a.m. Sunday, April 14, 2024, at the River Crossing Rehab Care Center in Creve Coeur, MO.
Funeral services for Mrs. Cravens will be conducted Thursday, April 18, at noon at the Plummer Funeral Home in Litchfield. Pastor Robert Morgason, of the Apostolic Lighthouse of Hillsboro will officiate, and burial will be in the Elmwood Cemetery in Litchfield. Visitation will be held Thursday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.
Mrs. Cravens was born in Chicago on Jan. 21, 1944, a daughter of George and Dorothy (Bettles) Osteen.
Mrs. Cravens is survived by her sons Louis Owens of Hermann, MO, Charles Gallagher of Benld and Lee (Kathy) Wesbrook of Creston, IA; daughters Charlene (Jeff) Eden of Canton, TX, Juanita (Grego) Yorko of Canton, TX, Lupe Hebenstreit of Nokomis, Iola (Cortez) Barber of St. Louis, MO, and Edna Cravens of Fillmore; twenty grandchildren, Kari, Kadi, Shawn, Summer, Antonio, Justin, Devin, Louis, Robbie, Jessie, Holly, Anthony, Jennifer, Elsie, Gunner, Guy “Bud”, Sara Lynn, Jacob, Wesley and Kaytlynn; and nine great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Lois Owens; brother William Williams and sister Betty Kindel; and two grandchildren, Elizabeth and Cody Wesbrook.
